  • Tournament format

    • Matches are best of three sets.

    • Golden point scoring applies throughout.

    • A seven-point deciding tiebreak is played in place of a full third set, won by a margin of two points.

    • Each division has a main draw and a consolation draw, designed so that every pair plays at least two matches per division entered. The guarantee may not apply in cases of walkover, disqualification or retirement.

    • Seeding method, rest periods between matches, late-arrival grace period, walkover and retirement rules:

      • Seeding is set by the Tournament Committee using a combination of Playtomic ratings, Padel PH League ratings (for Men's and Women's divisions) and the Committee's own assessment of recent results and play. No single rating is used alone, because app ratings can be inaccurate or out of date and many players have none.

      • The top seeds in each division are placed in separate groups, or in separate halves of a knockout draw. All other pairs are drawn at random. The Committee's seeding decisions are final.

      • Rest periods. Each pair has at least 60 minutes between the end of one match and the start of its next. Before a semifinal or final, the minimum is 90 minutes. Players entered in two divisions receive the same minimums across both divisions. Match times in the published schedule are "not before" times. A match may start earlier only if both pairs and the control desk agree.

      • Late arrival. Pairs must check in at the venue's control desk at least 30 minutes before their scheduled match time. A pair not ready to play at its scheduled time has a 15-minute grace period, with no penalty. If the pair is still not ready when the grace period ends, it loses the match by walkover.

      • Walkover and retirement.

        • A walkover is recorded as a 6–0, 6–0 win for the opponent. A pair that gives a walkover without a medical reason accepted by the Tournament Director is withdrawn from the rest of the division. Its completed matches stand, its remaining matches are recorded as walkovers, and its entry fee is not refunded.

        • Retirement. A pair that retires during a match loses it. For group rankings, the games and sets still to be played are awarded to the opponent (for example, 6–3, 2–1 retired is recorded as 6–3, 6–1). Each pair may take one medical time-out of up to 5 minutes per match. A pair that retires during the group stage may continue in its remaining group matches if fit to play.

      • Novice matches are intended to be played mainly at Prosmash Alabang, with later rounds possibly moved to Prosmash Makati. Court assignments may use either venue, and any venue transfer is communicated in the published schedule.

  • Draw, schedule, and venue of determination of winners

The draw and match schedule are published on November 18, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. through Whatsapp community for Prosmash, Prosmash website and Prosmash social media pages. Seeding is set by the Tournament Committee using a combination of Playtomic ratings, Padel PH League ratings and the Committee's own assessment of recent results and play. No single rating is used alone, because app ratings can be inaccurate or out of date and many players have none. Matches are played at Prosmash Makati and Prosmash Alabang on November 20 to 22, 2026. Finals and the awarding of prizes take place at Prosmash Makati on November 22, 2026.

  • How winners are determined; judging criteria; disputes

    • Champion: the pair that wins the final of the main draw of its division.

    • Runner-up: the pair that loses the final of the main draw of its division.

    • Only first and second place receive prizes. Semifinalists, consolation draw winners, and other finishers receive no prizes.

    • Criteria for judging: not applicable. Winners are decided by match results under the format in section 10, not by Hu judges' scoring, so there are no judging percentages.

    • Scoring and verification: match scores are recorded by the official scorekeeper or referee and entered in the control desk's result sheet, which is the official record.

    • Disputes: a score or rules dispute is raised with the match referee first, and then with the Tournament Director or the appeals panel named in section 13. Time limit for raising a dispute is 10 minutes. Their decision is final.

  • Prizes

All amounts are per pair, not per player. The cash prize pool is ₱500,000. Full detail is in Annex A.

    • Cash: ₱352,500 for champions and ₱147,500 for runners-up across nine divisions. Men's and Women's Open/Pro each have ₱150,000 for the champion pair and ₱65,000 for the runner-up pair. Each of the seven other divisions has ₱7,500 for the champion pair and ₱2,500 for the runner-up pair.

    • Rackets: one racket for each player of the champion pair in each of the seven non-Open/Pro divisions, for a total of 14 rackets. [Brand, model, specifications, unit retail value and total value: Tiger.] The rackets are in addition to the cash pool.

    • A pair's cash prize is divided equally between the two partners unless both partners agree otherwise in writing.

    • Prizes are not exchangeable for other items, except that cash prizes may be converted to court hours upon request.

  • Taxes

    • All prize amounts in these mechanics are gross. The Sponsor withholds the applicable final tax from each prize, remits it to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and gives each taxed winner a BIR certificate of final tax withheld (BIR Form 2306). Winners receive the net amount. Tax is computed on each player's share of the pair's prize, including the fair market value of any racket, and is deducted from that player's cash share.

      • Filipino citizens and resident foreigners: a prize share exceeding ₱10,000 is subject to a 20% final tax. A prize share of ₱10,000 or less is not subject to the 20% final tax; it forms part of the winner's taxable income, which the winner is responsible for reporting. The same 20% rule applies to nonresident foreigners engaged in trade or business in the Philippines.

      • Nonresident foreigners not engaged in trade or business in the Philippines: the full prize share is subject to a 25% final tax, with no ₱10,000 threshold, unless the winner submits, before release, documents the Sponsor accepts that support a lower rate under an applicable tax treaty.

      • Sanctioned tournament: if the tournament is sanctioned by Padel Pilipinas, the national sports association for padel, before November 20, 2026, the prizes are exempt from income tax under Section 32(B)(7)(d) of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended, and no tax is withheld. Participants are notified through the official channels if the sanction is obtained.

    • Redemption Period. Not applicable, as the promotion does not involve a purchase-based redemption scheme. The prize claim period specified above shall apply.

  • Withdrawals, substitutions, refunds and cancellations

Situation Rule
Player substitution Allowed until the roster freeze on November 17, 2026 at 12, subject to the Tournament Committee's eligibility and level check. After the roster freeze and until 24 hours before the pair's first scheduled match, a substitution is allowed only with the Tournament Director's approval, for a documented medical or emergency reason, and only if the substitute is eligible for the same division. No fee is charged for an approved substitution.
Withdrawal A pair that withdraws by written notice to the organizer seven (7) days before November 16, 2026 receives a full refund of its entry fee. No refund is given for a withdrawal after that deadline or for a no-show, except when the organizer cancels the division or tournament, or where the law requires a refund. All refunds under this section are paid to the original payment account within 30 days after the refund is approved.
Division cancelled or insufficient entries If a division is cancelled, including for having fewer than confirmed pairs at the registration deadline, each affected pair may choose a full refund or a transfer, at no extra fee, to another division for which it is eligible.
Weather interruption, postponement or tournament cancellation Courts are covered, so play continues in rain. If play is interrupted by a power outage, unsafe conditions or another event beyond the organizer's control, matches resume from the score at the time of interruption as soon as play is safe, at either venue. If the tournament or a division must be postponed, it is first rescheduled, with any approval the DTI requires, and paid entries remain valid for the new date. A pair that cannot play on the new date may ask for a full refund within seven (7) days after the new date is announced. If the tournament or a division is cancelled without a new date, each affected pair receives a full refund. Travel, accommodation and other personal costs are not reimbursed.
Disqualification A pair disqualified by the Tournament Director for a substantiated violation of the published tournament rules, after being given the chance to explain, receives no refund of its entry fee and forfeits any prize. A forfeited prize is treated in the same way as an unclaimed prize.
  • Changes and general conditions

    • Changes to categories, prizes, dates, or mechanics are made only with any approval DTI requires, and participants are notified through the official channels.

    • Registration information is handled in line with the Data Privacy Act.

    • By joining, participants agree to these mechanics and to the decisions of the Tournament Director and Committee.
